Privacy policy

Vruvix Tech (Udyam registration UDYAM-MH-26-1223973) ("we", "us") runs ReelNyx at reelnyx.com (the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. 1. What we collect

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local age of consent for online services). The Service is not meant for them.
2. How we use it, and our legal bases (EU/UK)
- To provide the Service you asked for (contract).
- To keep it secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce our Terms (legitimate interests).
- To improve the product with analytics and error reports (legitimate interests; consent where the law requires it, e.g. non-essential cookies).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties (legal obligation).
- To send service emails such as sign-in codes and billing notices (contract). Marketing emails only with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use your uploads or videos to train AI models.
3. AI processing
To make your videos we send your topic, script and prompts, and any reference images you choose, to our AI provider (Runware), which runs the image, video, voice and text models. They process this data to return results to us. AI output can be wrong or unexpected; review your videos before publishing.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (you will be told).
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country (for example in the United States). Where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is open.
- Projects, uploads and generated media: until you delete them or your account.
- Publishing tokens: until you disconnect the account or delete your account.
- Credit, payment, refund and subscription records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 8 years), even after you delete your account. After deletion they are kept without your name or email address, linked only to an anonymous number.
- Raw payment notifications from our payment provider (which can contain billing details): the content is erased 90 days after we process them; only a minimal record (event id, type, time, outcome) is kept with the accounting records above.
- Security logs and error reports: up to 90 days.
- Backups: deleted data leaves our backups within 30 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict some uses, and withdraw consent. We answer within 30 days. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Account → Delete account: type DELETE and enter the confirmation code we email you. If you cannot sign in, see reelnyx.com/account-deletion or email help.vruvixtech@gmail.com from the address of your account. When you confirm, you are signed out at once and we:
- cancel any subscription immediately (no refund, except where the law requires it; see our Refund Policy), and disconnect your publishing accounts, asking the platform to revoke our access where it allows it;
- delete your videos, scenes and versions, your characters and series, your uploads and every file we generated for you, your scheduled posts, sessions, notifications and activity records, and your name, picture, email address and Google sign-in link;
- keep only the payment, refund, credit and subscription records that tax and accounting law require (legal obligation), without your name or email address, linked to an anonymous number;
- email you when it is finished. This normally takes minutes and never more than 30 days; deleted data leaves our backups within 30 days.
Paddle, our merchant of record, keeps its own records of your purchases under its own privacy policy; to ask Paddle about them, contact Paddle directly. You can sign up again later with the same email: it will be a new account, and no credits or content are carried over. California residents: we do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
8. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), publishing tokens encrypted at rest, one-time sign-in codes, access limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at help.vruvixtech@gmail.com if you find a problem.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. Our product analytics (PostHog) run in cookieless mode: they set no cookies and use no local storage, so no consent banner is shown. Our error monitoring (Sentry) sets no cookies either. If we ever add analytics that use cookies, we will ask for your consent first and add a cookie settings page.
10. Changes
We will post changes here and update the date. For important changes we will tell you by email or in the app.
